Vytautas Kazimieras Jonynas Gallery

The gallery, built in 1993, is named after the gifted graphic artist, painter, stained-glass designer V.K. Jonynas (1907-1997) provides a survey of the artist's works from 1931 to 1982: wood engravings created during studentship, illustrations and book-plates from the Kaunas and Paris periods; wood engravings and postal stamps of the Freiburg period, the Mainz lithographs, designs of stained-glass, sculptures, mosaics installed in the public buildings, churches, public gardens and squares in the United States, as well as drawings, watercolors, pastels.
