Restaurant menu:
In the beer restaurant AULA we have made an attempt to preserve the traditions of old Lithuanian kitchen considering contemporary taste. All dishes in AULA are prepared only from fresh food; moreover, a cook can start preparing the meal only when a customer makes an order. If a customer prefers something special or cannot find what he wants in the menu, we can arrange an individual menu for him. However an individual order should be made a day before.
In AULA one can find two kinds of menu. In the main menu we offer mostly Lithuanian dishes; and in the beer menu you can find dishes including beer. In this menu one can find dishes in which beer is one of ingredients. Moreover, in the beer menu we offer beer cocktails, such as “Đvyturio Baltas” wheat beer and “Đvyturio Baltijos“ dark beer with mint, grapefruit, banana, raspberry, lemon, vanilla, caramel or hazelnut syrups.
For parties individual menu can be made to a customer‘s taste.
In the beer restaurant AULA a comfortable space for a small company can be found to have a business dinner.
Restaurant halls:
A ship shaped bar is the central accent of the beer restaurant AULA. Here you can find a souvenir shop, a shelf of nominal glasses where the most loyal beer admirers can keep their personal glasses with their names or nick names. Moreover, in one of the frescos of the bar hall an ancient map of the Vilnius old town is represented.
A wine hall is oriented to wine admirers because here they can choose their desirable wine straight from the wine shelves. In spite of AULA being a beer restaurant, we can offer quite a rich assortment of wines (71 kind). Moreover, here one can find a few kinds of home wine at popular prices . So wine menu will satisfy different kinds of tastes.
A fireplace hall is one of the cosiest and interesting places in our restaurant. The vaults of the hall were painted by a young art student. The main theme of these frescos is the birth of food from the most exotic products and the spirit of the Middle Ages prevails in the premises of the restaurant. Due to the imagination of the painter and his original view to food, visitors will have a good time watching the frescos while waiting for their orders. Moreover, visitors can take and read all the books from the book shelves. There one can find many journals, newspapers, Lihuanian, Russian, German literature and poetry. We are glad that every day the library of our restaurant is enriched by our visitors bringing some publications or books.
Between the fireplace and wine halls there is an arch where one can find the list of all rectors (from 1579 – up to the days) and the most memorable dates of Vilnius University.
In the fireplace hall a bigger company of six – ten people can find a nice place to spend their evening.
The white hall is the most ascetic hall in the restaurant. On the other hand, because of its simplicity and cosiness it is very suitable for small entertainment, social evenings or parties.
In the cellar of the restaurant you will find a new private hall. This VIP hall is designed for 10-15 people company that prefers intimate atmosphere for a nice evening. The VIP hall is provided with modern video and sound equipment.
Moreover, the VIP hall is equipped with special beer taps which visitors of the restaurant can be used without the help of a waiter.
The cellar hall is usually used for bigger entertainments because here there is enough room not only to sit at the table but also to dance.
In summer L.Stuokos Gucevicius yard is the central place of the restaurant. Sitting in the yard one can admire the towers of St. Jonai church, enjoying nice atmosphere and lounge music. Furthermore, Stuoka Gucevicius yard is unique because of the memorial plaque for Stuoka Gucevicius. So this yard attracts not only the visitors of AULA but also all tourists that come to Vilnius. |
